FEEL THE LOVE® Program – LII Lennox Foundation Terms and Conditions

The FEEL THE LOVE® Program (the “Program”) is sponsored by the LII Lennox Foundation (the “Foundation”), working with (1) Lennox Industries Inc., 2100 Lake Park Blvd., Richardson, TX 75080, and its affiliates (collectively, “Lennox”) and (2) Lennox dealers participating in the Program (“Dealers”). The Program will provide and install Lennox-branded heating and air conditioning equipment (collectively or in cases of only heating or only air conditioning, “Equipment”) to homeowners chosen from a group of nominated individuals who are making a positive impact on their communities and who exhibit financial need. As described below, the Foundation will:
- select the chosen individuals (the “Recipients”) and
- provide to them Equipment that has been donated to the Foundation. Dealers will install the Equipment at no charge to the Recipients on behalf of the Foundation.
The nomination period begins at 12 a.m. Central Time on May 1, 2024, and ends at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on August 31, 2024 (the “Nomination Period”). During the Nomination Period, which may be extended at the Foundation’s discretion, a person (a “Nominator”) may nominate one or more individual(s) (a “Nominee”) who meets the eligibility criteria listed below by submitting Nominee’s (or Nominees’) name and address, together with a statement about why the Nominee deserves to receive replacement Equipment and installation, using the nomination form at www.feelthelove.com. A Nominator may not submit more than one nomination for a Nominee. Doing so will not increase a Nominee’s chances of being chosen. A Nominator may not nominate themselves or a person living in their residence.
Eligibility Criteria. A Nominee must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Nominee must be a permanent legal resident of the United States (excluding residents in Alaska) or Canada in one of the following provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Saskatchewan. Nominee must also be the age of majority or older in the Nominee’s state or province of residence.
- As of May 1, 2024, Nominee must own and reside in a single-family home with a central heating and air conditioning system that regulates temperatures throughout the home with installed ductwork. Hydronic systems, boilers, wood stoves, outdoor wood boilers, electric baseboard heaters, oil systems, or fireplaces are not eligible for replacement and are excluded from the Program. In some unique situations, a home may be fitted with mini-split units that do not require ductwork. Mobile homes and manufactured/prefabricated homes are not eligible.
- Nominee must provide evidence of home ownership.
- Nominee must not be an employee, officer, director, or an immediate family member or live in the same household, whether related, of the Foundation, Lennox, or the Dealers, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, wholesalers, vendors, public relations, advertising, or promotion agencies. “Immediate family” is defined as biological, step or adoptive parents, siblings, children, stepchildren, and spouse.
- Nominator must receive Nominee’s permission to provide Nominee’s information to the Foundation, Lennox, and the Dealers as indicated on the ______________.
- Nominee must provide Dealer or its representatives adequate access to inspect Nominee’s residence and determine the need for and suitability of installing replacement Equipment if the Nominee is chosen as a Recipient.
- Nomination must set forth Nominee’s significant positive impact on their community, whether by their choice of professions, such as primary or secondary school teachers, first responders, or veterans, or by other activities, as well as Nominee’s financial need for replacement Equipment, as determined by the Foundation in its sole discretion. Examples of financial need situations would include financial hardship due to:
Other examples of financial need would include reliance on a government financial support program, including, but not limited to:
- SNAP (food stamps), if a resident of the United State, or the low-income support social assistance program of his or her province of residence, if a resident of Canada, or
- Medicaid, if a resident of the United States, or
- The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, if a resident of the United States, or the Low-Income Energy Assistance Program, if a Canadian resident of Ontario, or
- Supplemental Security Income, if a resident of the United States, or the Guaranteed Income Supplement, if a resident of Canada, or
- Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, if a resident of the United States, or the unreduced Canada Child Benefit, if a resident of Canada.
- If selected as a Recipient, the Nominee (or a relative or other individual designated by the Nominee to be present in their place (a “Designee”)) must be available during the period of 10/5-12/2024 (the “Install Period”) for Dealer or its representatives to install the Equipment in Nominee’s home.
- No funds, compensation, or indemnity will be provided by the Foundation, Lennox, or the Dealers for payment of taxes, if applicable, or any other monetary impact resulting from the receipt or use of the Equipment and installation.
- If selected as a Recipient, the Nominee is solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any federal, state, provincial, and local taxes on receipt and use of the Equipment.
- Nominator, Nominee, and Designee, if any, agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and execute these additional documents if Nominee is selected as a Recipient:
- Nominee agrees to sign a declaration of eligibility.
- Nominator, Nominee, and Designee, if any, agree to sign a release of liability and a publicity release allowing the Foundation, Lennox, and the Dealers to use Nominator, Nominee, and Designee’s, if any, name and likeness, along with images of Nominee’s home, for publicity purposes without compensation (unless prohibited by law).
Selection Process and Criteria. The Foundation will review each nomination to ensure eligibility and will then select a Recipients based on:
- need for and suitability of installing replacement Equipment to provide a habitable home,
- proximity to and appropriateness for a Dealer,
- number of nominations received from different, unrelated Nominators,
- significance of community impact, and
- degree of financial hardship.
Recipient selection and notification will take place on or around September 1, 2024.
Recipients or their Designee must be available during the Install Period for the installation of their Equipment, or another date shortly before or after the Install Period if extraordinary circumstances prevent Nominee (or their Designee) from being present and installing Dealer agrees, in its sole discretion, to an alternative date. If the Equipment cannot be installed during the Install Period, and Nominee and the Dealer cannot agree on an acceptable alternative date, the selected Nominee will forfeit the Equipment, and the Foundation may make an alternate selection.
Equipment Warranties: Replacement equipment will be covered by Lennox’s standard Equipment Limited Warranty that accompanies the installed Equipment. If applicable, a conversion kit and/or pressure switch, whip, disconnect and/or line set may be included. Nothing else is included, including, without limitation, ductwork.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT POSSIBLE, THE PROGRAM SHALL BE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS, WITHOUT REGARD TO ITS CONFLICT OF LAWS RULES. VENUE FOR ANY ACTIONS HEREUNDER SHALL BE IN THE APPROPRIATE STATE OR FEDERAL COURT LOCATED IN DALLAS COUNTY, TX.
